Our day and night home care service provides flexible, professional support to help older people live safely and comfortably in their own homes across North and Central London.
Unlike agencies that send a different carer each visit, Golders Green Nursing allocates a small, consistent team of experienced carers to each client. This means your loved one builds a genuine relationship with their carer – someone who understands their routines, preferences and personality.
All our carers have a minimum of two years’ experience, are DBS checked, and receive mandatory annual training in First Aid, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Safeguarding and more. Your care is overseen by a qualified nurse who monitors your wellbeing and adapts your care plan as your needs change.
Our day care service provides support during daytime hours, typically in long shifts of 10–12 hours. This continuity means your carer becomes familiar with your needs and your home – reducing confusion and building trust.
Day care is ideal for:
Our night care service provides peace of mind through the night, whether your loved one needs active support or simply the reassurance of having someone nearby. We offer two types of night care:
Waking Night Care: Your carer remains awake throughout the night, providing assistance whenever needed – ideal for people who need regular repositioning, toileting assistance or have conditions such as dementia that cause night-time disturbance.
Sleepover Care (22:00–07:00): Your carer sleeps at the property and is available to assist if needed during the night – ideal for those who are generally settled but need the reassurance that help is close at hand.
Getting started with home care at Golders Green Nursing is straightforward. Our simple five-step process ensures you receive the right care from the very start.
Contact us by phone or email and speak with a senior member of our team. We’ll listen to your situation, explain our services and answer any questions. There’s no pressure and no commitment.
A senior team member visits your home to meet your loved one, assess their care needs, and understand the environment. We use this visit to match the right carers to your family.
We create a detailed care plan tailored to your loved one’s specific needs, routines, preferences and medical requirements. You and your family are involved at every stage.
Your allocated carer(s) begin providing care, guided by the care plan. We use the PASS digital care platform to record every visit in real time, giving you visibility and peace of mind.
Your care is proactively managed by a qualified nurse who monitors your wellbeing, reviews your care plan regularly, and liaises with your GP and any specialists. We don’t wait for problems – we prevent them.
