Home Care & Nursing Services in London

Two pillars of care - expert home care and specialist nursing, delivered across North & Central London

At Golders Green Nursing, we provide high-quality home care and private nursing services for people who wish to remain safe, comfortable and well cared for in their own homes.

Our services are built around two clear pillars: experienced home care delivered by carefully selected carers, and private nursing care delivered by NMC-registered nurses. Every client receives a personalised care plan, with support overseen by our senior nursing team and adapted as needs change.

Whether you are arranging care for yourself, a parent, a spouse or another loved one, we can help you understand the right level of support – from day and night home care to private nursing, live-in care, dementia support, palliative care and hospital discharge support.

Home Care Services

Delivered by experienced, DBS-checked carers with a minimum of two years’ experience.

Our home care services are designed for people who need practical, personal and emotional support to remain living safely at home.

Care is delivered by experienced, DBS-checked carers and overseen by our nursing team. We prioritise continuity wherever possible, allocating a small and familiar team so clients are supported by people who understand their routines, preferences and personality.

All care packages include a personalised care plan, regular review, PASS digital care records and proactive nurse oversight.

  • Day & Night Home Care – Flexible daytime and overnight care at home, usually provided in longer shifts for continuity and reassurance.

  • Live-in Care – Round-the-clock support from a live-in carer, allowing clients to remain in their own home with continuous reassurance, companionship and practical help.

  • Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care – Specialist support for people living with dementia, focused on routine, reassurance, safety, dignity and continuity of care.

  • Palliative & End of Life Care – Compassionate care at home for clients and families during palliative or end of life care.

  • Post-Operative Care – Short-term or ongoing support after surgery or hospital discharge, helping clients recover safely at home.

  • Respite Care – Temporary care to support family carers, whether for a few days, a regular break, or a longer period of cover.

Home Nursing Services

All our nurses are fully qualified and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Our nursing services are suitable for clients who require clinical support at home, either as short nursing visits or as part of a wider day, night or 24-hour care package.

Nursing care is delivered by NMC-registered nurses and overseen by our senior nursing team. Where appropriate, we can liaise with GPs, consultants, hospitals and other healthcare professionals to support joined-up care.

  • Day & Night Home Nursing – Private nursing support at home during the day, overnight, or as part of a wider 24-hour care package.

  • Private District Nursing – NMC-registered nurses visiting at home for wound care, catheter care, continence support, stoma care, injections, medication administration and post-operative nursing.

  • IV Therapy at Home – Specialist IV nursing at home, including intravenous medication or hydration where clinically appropriate and prescribed.

Specialist & Condition-Led Care

Many clients need support because of a specific condition, diagnosis or change in health. Our nurse-led approach means we can build care around the person’s medical needs, routines, risks and family priorities.

  • Parkinson’s Care – Support for clients living with Parkinson’s disease, including help with mobility, medication routines, personal care, nutrition, falls risk and day-to-day reassurance.

  • Stroke Recovery Care – Care and support following a stroke, focused on safety, rehabilitation routines, mobility, communication, nutrition, personal care and confidence at home.

  • Dementia Care – Structured, familiar and compassionate care for people living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

  • Palliative Care – Sensitive home care and nursing support for clients receiving palliative or end of life care.

Hospital-to-Home Support

Many families contact us when a loved one is leaving hospital and needs more support than originally expected.

We can help arrange care at home following surgery, illness, infection, a fall, reduced mobility, a new catheter, wound care needs or a general decline in confidence. Our team can liaise with hospitals, GPs, consultants, physiotherapists and other professionals where appropriate, helping to make the transition home safer and less stressful.

We regularly support clients returning home from both private and NHS hospitals across London.
